Your New Role And Responsibilities
We have an opportunity with one of our key programs providing support and maintenance of a large enterprise environment spanning multiple locations (ideally you will have an NV1 Security Clearance). This role will see work within a high-performance leveraged team working across a wide range of technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Your New Role And Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
As a Systems Administrator, your role will perform some or all the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:
- System and Software Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, services, and standard company software using customised in-house toolsets; deploy solutions in line with organisational standards and project requirements (e.g., PC Migration Project).
- User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide deskside support for various applications, Citrix environments, printing and LRS issues; assist with data backup and recovery; carry out troubleshooting and fault remediation activities.
- Account and Directory Services: Create and maintain various Active Directory (AD) account types, ensuring proper access and user management.
- Process and Documentation Management: Create, update, and amend process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to support IT operations and end-user guidance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with users and key business stakeholders, providing subject matter expertise and resolving technical issues and user requests.
Coupled with your education and/or experience, you have exposure to some of the below tools and methodologies:
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated high-level skill with Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, Office, Teams, Skype for Business, desktop and laptop hardware (HP, Dell), Cisco phones, and iOS mobility solutions.
- Infrastructure and Systems Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365 (O365), Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and LRS systems.
- Scripting and Automation: Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
- Systems Management Tools: Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Ivanti for device and software management.
- ITIL and Best Practice Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their application within IT service management.
