Are you passionate about data-driven decision-making and credit risk strategy? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Trade team as a Credit Strategy Analyst.
About The Role
As a Credit Strategy Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our credit risk strategies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor portfolio performance, analyse credit trends, and implement strategies that mitigate risk and support business growth.

Join Our Team as a Credit Strategy Analyst
Are you passionate about data-driven decision-making and credit risk strategy? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Trade team as a Credit Strategy Analyst.
About The Role
As a Credit Strategy Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our credit risk strategies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor portfolio performance, analyse credit trends, and implement strategies that mitigate risk and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse credit portfolio performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Deliver regular reports on delinquencies, credit score distributions, and other key metrics.
- Conduct deep dives into credit data to generate actionable insights.
- Support the development and execution of credit risk strategies across products and member segments.
- Collaborate with the Credit team to enhance acquisition, retention, and credit limit strategies.
- Evaluate and test new credit risk models and strategies.
- Monitor emerging risk patterns and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Contribute to proactive risk mitigation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Experience with SAS and understanding of credit risk models is desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate insights effectively.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in financial services.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce.
