We are currently seeking a driven and energetic individual to join our Revenue team as Regional Revenue Manager (Vic), based in Melbourne. As a key member of the Regional Revenue Team, you will be responsible for yielding management techniques to maximize occupancy, conduct forecasts, and maintaining accurate data and weekly reports.


The role:

Reporting to the Director of Revenue, the Regional Revenue Manager (Vic) assists and guides our portfolio of hotels to maximise the highest possible revenue and increase occupancy. As the Regional Revenue Manager (Vic) you are responsible for auditing all systems to maintain group parity and communicate Hotel Standards for Revenue Management.


Key responsibilities:

  • Regionally responsible for Revenue Management
  • Assist Director of Revenue in all Revenue Management and Distribution responsibilities
  • Ensure involvement in the effective Rate Negotiation & Distribution process between Hotel and Head Office teams providing feedback & analysis where required
  • Ensure effective utilisation & pricing of Room types/categories in line with market demands
  • Assist hotel managers to create forecasts & conduct monthly reviews
  • Assist hotels to develop effective Pricing & Yield Strategies to maximise RevPAR opportunities
  • Review of weekly pickup report & comparison to Budget & same point in time last year trends
  • Analysis & materialisation of Segmentation, Day of Week, Seasonal trends, major Events, Tactical Sales & Contracted, Group & Allotment business against Budget & Same Point in time Last Year trends to ensure effective communication of Yield Management & optimisation of RevPAR opportunities to hotels
  • Effective operation & maintenance of RMS system, including management of forecasts, events, budgets, competitive data & alignment of Pricing & yielding recommendations between RMS & all channels
  • Maintenance of Revenue Management & Distribution knowledge database & intranet tools
  • Create and distribute regional month end reports to key stake holders


About you:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a cluster revenue management role.
  • An understanding of hotel systems and revenue management methods to optimize performance and maximize opportunities
  • An inspirational leader with experience leading a team in a revenue environment
  • The ability to develop and implement revenue strategies that align with overall business goals and market conditions.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Cultivating strong relationships with internal teams and external partners (OTAs, corporate clients).
  • Extensive knowledge of the distribution environment, OTA’s, and emerging market trends.
  • Strong and effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Expertise in using and optimizing revenue management systems (RMS), GDS, Channel Manager to manage inventory, pricing, and reporting.
  • Competent in the use of a Property Management System (PMS) such as Protel/Opera or similar
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence (essential)
  • Permanent Full-time work rights for Australia (essential)
