Since launching in 2014, we’ve grown a massive network of +45k of your favourite cafes, restaurants and bars (almost half the venues in the country!) ordering $1.5b+ a year from over 1000+ local, wholesale suppliers. We are a fully-funded scale-up of over 110 people that have built a sophisticated cloud-based payment and ordering SaaS application. Our world-class platform performs large numbers of transactions powering the food and beverage industry across Australia.

We are searching for an experienced Sales professional (based in NSW) with expertise in consultative selling and a true desire to help digitise the F&B industry by offering the best in category platform solution.
What you'll do
- Build & execute a sales strategy for your respective territory by deeply understanding the needs and pain points of the Supplier ICP (ideal customer profile).
- Accelerate sales velocity by helping Suppliers run their business more efficiently by unlocking the full potential of the Ordermentum platform.
- Nurture key strategic accounts across our core and new emerging categories to develop robust pipelines.
- Build deep relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the suppliers’ organisation to champion the Ordermentum platform for ordering, payments and more.
- Work closely with the suppliers to understand their needs and workflows to deliver a seamless sales experience by focussing on needs-based-selling and operational rigour.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by delivering a delightful experience in conjunction with onboarding & technical implementation specialists to create life long partnerships delivering operational efficiency, financial health and growth for suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with our Product Technology and Customer Service teams to scope integration solutions to meet the needs of suppliers.
- Develop annual sales plan and quarterly forecasts driven from the analysis of sales, customer and market data
- Be the Supplier’s voice in all internal meetings, sharing key insights and emerging requirements with cross functional leads
What you have
- 5+ years experience in Mid-Key Account selling ideally within the Hospitality industry
- Sound knowledge of SaaS solutions (desirable)
- An entrepreneurial spirit for driving strong revenue growth and hitting and exceeding financial goals.
- Experience fostering effective working relationships, quickly building rapport and engagement amongst C level and cross functional leads to develop long-term trusted partnerships and deliver best in-class solutions to your customers
- Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to identifying key challenges and finding solutions
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with Product and technical teams to contribute to the creation of technical solutions to support complex processes and system integrations
- Proficiency in CRM to accurately and consistently forecast sales activity in a timely manner
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking that enables you to use industry and supplier trends analysis to deliver business results and identify key sales opportunities
- A genuine desire to support and collaborate with other team members and share insights and best practices
