• conducting visual inspections of kerbside bins,
• engaging with residents and the community to foster positive environmental behaviours,
• ensuring adherence to customer material processing requirements,

The Role Involves Participation In Diverse Activities Such As

• waste and recycling container inspections,
• detailed material segregation,
• collaborative sample collection.
  
  

The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity for multitasking, a proactive approach to work tasks, the ability to establish rapport with stakeholders, and a commitment to high safety standards.

The Ideal Applicant Will Possess Knowledge Of

• kerbside waste services or exhibit a strong aptitude for acquiring this knowledge rapidly.
• A willingness to undertake physical research projects, including early morning bin inspections and community education initiatives, is essential.
• Reasonable level of computer literacy, encompassing basic Excel functions, and confidence in verbal communication, including customer service and public engagement, are required.
• The ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team is necessary, along with a Class C driver's license and a dedicated and reliable work ethic.
• An understanding of sustainability or the environmental field, coupled with an interest in community education, behaviour change, and communication, would be advantageous.
