Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth analysis of legacy data sources to understand data structures, quality, relationships, and anomalies, directly informing migration strategies and data transformation rules.
• Developing and maintaining detailed source to target data mapping and document the business logic and transformation required to migrate data accurately to the new data platforms.
• Performing comprehensive data profiling on both legacy and target data sources to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps, and contribute to the definition of data cleansing and validation rules.
• Analysing existing business rules and data processing logic within legacy sources to understand their impact on data and translate them into requirements for the new target data sources.
  
  

Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with data analysis at an enterprise level;
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, SQL Tools and Power BI;
• Expert knowledge of data management and related tools;
• Ability to understand and manage stakeholder expectations todeliver data-driven solutions;
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills;
• Proficient in writing technical documentation using appropriate templates/version control;
• Experience with developing data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data solutions within cloud-platforms.
