The Opportunity
Join a high-performing finance team during a key period of transformation. CSR is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to support strategic integration, reporting, and compliance initiatives over a 12-month contract, based in North Ryde.
Key Responsibilities
- Support finance system integration, including alignment of chart of accounts and reporting structures.
- Oversee month-end processes, financial data integrity, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate half-year and year-end reporting, financial statements, and audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting.
- Contribute to ERP implementation planning and other finance improvement initiatives.
- Deliver technical accounting advice for projects, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Drive process improvements using technology and standardised practices to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with audit experience (medium to large entities)
- At least seven years' practical experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Strong background in corporate accounting, consolidations, and statutory reporting
- Experience with finance IT integrations and acquisition accounting (desirable)
- Excellent accounting knowledge and strong analytical mindset
- Proficient in SAP or other major ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
