We have a fantastic opportunity to lead our brand new, state-of-the-art flour mill as a Site Leader. Initially located in our historic flour mill in North Melbourne, as we enter an exciting period of growth this role will then transition into our newly built facility located at Ballarat with additional accountability of an off-site warehouse in West Footscray.
This role will be responsible for strategic leadership of the production site, leveraging effective management of all manufacturing and people operations to deliver best-in-class outcomes for our people, our customers and our business.
We are searching for a passionate people leader who can drive engagement as well as navigate effectively through change. Our brand-new Ballarat site will be a fully automated facility and with these technological advancements, we are seeking a leader with a passion for digitisation and automation. Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing ANZ, other main responsibilities include:
To succeed in this role, you'll need proven experience in high-volume food manufacturing—ideally in flour, feed, or rice milling—with commissioning new builds seen as a plus. Strong leadership and people management skills are essential, particularly in driving engagement and cultural change in demanding environments. You must have a solid track record in managing health, safety, quality, and environmental systems, along with a commitment to best practices. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to make sound, sometimes tough, business decisions is also key.

- Strategic leadership and management of the end-to-end manufacturing process including project and change management processes.
- Constructive leadership, building a high performing team of accountable leaders who can deliver the business goals through their people.
- Develop and promote a high standard on all aspects of people and food safety and build, maintain and champion a safety-first culture.
- Continually pursue options for improved productivity and output through a culture of continuous improvement, organisation alignment and fit-for-purpose systems.
- Ensuring regular consistent reporting and monitoring at organisation and team level to track progress but also to identify operational gaps and opportunities.
