Maintenance Electrician

Randstad are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a respected and well-established food manufacturing business in Canning Vale. Based within a fast-paced FMCG environment, this is a permanent opportunity offering a strong salary package, job security, and a supportive team culture.

About The Role

Working on a 4 days on / 4 days off roster, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of automated processing and packaging machinery. Rapid fault-finding ability is essential to help minimise downtime and keep production moving.

This role would suit a motivated electrician who has strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys being part of a collaborative and safety-focused maintenance team who value their employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on production equipment
• Diagnose electrical faults quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment
• Maintain compliance with safety and food industry regulations
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

Requirements

• Current A Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
• C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (required)
• Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Proven ability to fault find and resolve electrical issues quickly under pressure
• Experience with PLCs, automated systems, and variable speed drives highly regarded
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards
