Financial Planning and Control Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, qualified Finance/Accounting professional who is commercially minded with an interest in FMCG and Supply Chain functions to join our team on a 12-month Maternity Leave Contract


About The Role


We are looking for a highly organized and proactive team player to own the tax/audit co-ordination and provide finance business partnering and accounting support to parts of the Supply Chain function.


Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include areas such as:


Financial Planning and Control:


  • Monthly Overheads review and forecast
  • Monthly reporting decks and P&L set up
  • Monthly working capital review and forecast
  • Supporting tax accounting, tax submissions and co-ordination
  • Supporting and coordinating Internal and external audit
  • Other statutory/ regulatory submissions


Business Partnering:


  • Tracking and monitoring freight variances on international inbound freight from third party provides
  • Monthly checking of freight model for provision position, quarterly actualization of blended freight rate
  • Fielding ad-hoc freight related queries from commercial team
  • Intercompany sales to NZ price maintenance & margin correction


Additionally:

  • BPC & SAP Super user
  • Annual insurance renewal data preparation
  • Annual physical asset verification


About You:


To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following experience.

  • Degree in finance or accounting (essential)
  • CPA/ICA professional qualification or near completion
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)
  • Working in a SAP environment and BI reporting highly desirable
  • Experience in audit/tax functions (Desirable)
  • Experience in FMCG preferable but not essential
