Disaster Recovery & Resilience Manager

Your Role

As the IT Disaster Recovery & Resilience Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of UniSuper's disaster recovery strategy across our technology landscape. You'll chair the Disaster Recovery Governance Committee, collaborate with internal teams and strategic partners, and ensure readiness through rigorous planning, testing, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise-wide IT disaster recovery strategy and roadmap
  • Ensure compliance with APRA CPS 230 & CPS 232 and manage audit readiness
  • Oversee DR planning, testing, and incident response across all IT services
  • Drive governance through the Disaster Recovery Committee
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to strengthen resilience
  • Provide strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership
Key Stakeholders

You'll work closely with:

  • Internal teams: Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure & Cloud, Risk, Security, and more
  • External partners: Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Infosys, and SaaS providers
About You

Essential:

  • 10+ years in IT disaster recovery, business continuity, or IT risk
  • Proven leadership in enterprise DR programs
  • Deep knowledge of APRA CPS 230 & 232
  • Strong governance, compliance, and audit experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and crisis management skills
Desirable:

  • Certifications: CBCP, CISA, ITIL
  • Experience with cloud-based DR solutions
  • Background in financial services or regulated industries
