Lyrebird Health is transforming the quality and accessibility of healthcare by automating clinicians' most time-consuming tasks. Placed in General Practice, Allied Health, and Specialist clinics, Lyrebird is saving clinicians on average 2 hours per day and enabling a level of care that was previously impossible.

What You'll do:
- Design & enhance the Lyrebird application with new capabilities - including the use of LLMs in production and various other machine learning capabilities
- Own and implement LLM testing and evaluation frameworks to maintain quality generations at scale
- Develop next generation AI infrastructure to enable real time automation of healthcare practitioners most time consuming tasks
- Be driven by a scientific approach to problem solving, obsessively iterate and improve Lyrebird’s clinical output
- Rapidly learn new skills and technologies required to create products for our users
- Build scalable AI systems that are reliable with 10k concurrent users
- Continuously improve our internal processes;
- Solve challenging problems and make decisions
- Proven track record of building things people love: You have hands on experience working with LLMs and prompting, including building cutting-edge LLM systems. You have built and implemented local and production evaluation frameworks and ideally have experience working with llm-engineering platforms such as Langsmith, Langfuse or Phoenix
- Experience working in a fast-paced, scrappy environment
- 4+ years of product management experience
- You have an interest in AI and thinking about how AI can supercharge productivity
- You find delight in unpacking and solving deeply complex problems without losing sight of the big picture
- You are user obsessed
- You apply a scientific approach to problem solving and have used quantitative (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (e.g., research, user feedback) to drive product prioritisation and decision-making
- Empathetic communication: You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real-time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed
