You will play a key part in ensuring product compliance with all relevant regulations and standards by maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring regulatory updates, and developing effective compliance strategies. Collaborating across functions, you’ll drive continuous improvement, share best practices, and keep the business ahead of emerging regulatory trends.

What You´ll Do
- Ensuring compliance with existing regulations in both Australia and New Zealand, including those relevant to products in hair, laundry & home care.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive library of chemical and product records, including SDSs to meet regulatory obligations.
- Monitor regulatory changes, assess their impact on our portfolio, and develop strategies for compliance.
- Keep the business informed about upcoming regulatory trends and proposed new regulations.
- Advise Marketing on regulatory matters, including product claims, and represent Regulatory Affairs in project and category meetings.
- Review artworks from a regulatory perspective.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team to enhance capabilities and share best practices across categories and the region.
- Promote a unified team spirit by improving processes, procedures, and common ways of working.
- Degree in Chemistry or comparable degree.
- High profile achievements in a regulatory role within FMCG or similar industry.
- Proven in managing the complexity of multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance.
- Able to build trusting relationships and collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and eager to learn.
- Able to critically analyse situations and provide insightful observations and improvements. Self-motivated, creative, and an open-minded team-player.
