About the vacancy

This vacancy has arisen as a result of an internal promotion, reflecting the growth and development opportunities within our organisation. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team and play a key role in driving positive cultural change. Main Duties:

  • Maintain QESH Management System that is optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications, customer, third-party certification standards and legislation for NEWCOLD Oceania sites
  • Report to Regional QESH Manager ANZ on the performance of the QESH Management System and any need for improvement
  • Monitor internal and external performance in relation to production processes, specifications, methods and controls and recommend and implement improvements where required.
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisation.
  • Liaise with the external assessment bodies on all matters related to the external accreditation process.
  • To investigate and communicate the corrective actions implemented for consumer complaints.
  • To drive a continuous reduction of consumer complaints through sustainable corrective preventive actions and plans.
  • Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement and ensure employees accept accountability for QESH initiatives and sustainability within their operation.
  • To lead the execution of a training program to build QESH management skills.
  • To operate in a safe working manner and support the Workplace Health and Safety initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree aligned.
* Proven knowledge of accreditation processes & quality standards
* Proven technical, computer and analytical skills
* Proven knowledge of accreditation processes & quality standards
* Excellent communications (verbal & written both) & interpersonal skills
* Outstanding numerical skills and understanding of statistics
* Problem Solving skills
* Ability to demonstrate leadership skills.
* Attention to details
* Organisational and time management skills
* Strong integrity and work ethic
* Ability to multitask and prioritise between conflicting tasks
* Ability to understand and be part of the organisational culture
