About The Role
Are you ready to take charge of planning and coordinating critical field-based work?
We're looking for a Works Ready Coordinator in the Underground Cables team to ensure effective preparation and planning of work packages that support the delivery of our program of works while ensuring that effective processes, systems, and disciplines are in place to assist with the efficient delivery of the works program.
Key Responsibilities Include.
To succeed in this role, the successful applicant will require hands on experience in high and low voltage environments with solid grasp of industry standard operating policies and procedures for Underground Electrical distribution systems

About The Role

We're looking for a Works Ready Coordinator in the Underground Cables team to ensure effective preparation and planning of work packages that support the delivery of our program of works while ensuring that effective processes, systems, and disciplines are in place to assist with the efficient delivery of the works program.
Key Responsibilities Include.
- Plan and oversee field-based activities, relating to time, cost, quality and safety criteria for planned and emergency situations
- Manage materials using purchasing system and subcontract services required to complete the work schedule
- Completion of all reports and job control worksheets
- Manage the team to ensure organisational goals are achieved
- Apply conflict resolution techniques to avoid potential escalations of industrial disputes
To succeed in this role, the successful applicant will require hands on experience in high and low voltage environments with solid grasp of industry standard operating policies and procedures for Underground Electrical distribution systems
- Cable Jointing experience on legacy power networks (highly desirable)
- Civil experience working in VEDN environments (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of safe working practices OHS&E principles and Australian standards
- Practical knowledge of legal, financial, quality and risk management concepts and their application to field employees
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and planning package systems (preferred)
- Certificate III ESI – Power Systems or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Current Victorian Driver’s licence
