This is an Account Manager role based in Sydney, Australia, focused on long-term client retention and future growth. The role involves managing customer inquiries and engaging proactively with stakeholders. You will partner with Sales and Sales Engineering to upsell and educate clients on new offerings, ensuring we maintain and enhance our industry-leading service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for multiple clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Services to add incremental value to the client experience.
  • Maintain and strengthen commercial relationships with clients by:
    • Monitoring overall client health.
    • Forecasting, preventing, and managing churn.
    • Conducting account planning and KYC (Know Your Customer) activities.
    • Designing and enforcing consistent processes to capture key client information (e.g., key contacts, ITL, opportunities).
    • Managing BAU (Business As Usual) commercial activities and order processing.
    • Overseeing contract renewals.
    • Coordinating with internal departments to manage day-to-day client operations.
    • Partnering with Client Services for Quarterly Service Reviews.
    • Working with Sales to generate new opportunities.
    • Communicating product and feature updates to current clients.
    • Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
    • Running campaigns to promote new products and use cases (e.g., ESG, ETF).
    • Tracking and measuring key KPIs and CSAT for each client.
Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
  • Proven experience in addressing data challenges within the Financial Services industry (buy-side and sell-side).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of financial spreadsheets, databases, and applications.
  • Knowledge of equity and fixed income benchmarks.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in a client-facing role within financial markets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
  • Graduate-level education, preferably in finance or a related field.
