SQL Server Developer

Step into a high-impact role where your SQL Server expertise will directly support national applications within a government environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to design, build, and optimize complex data solutions that drive real-world outcomes. You'll collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance data systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and maintaining robust, end-to-end data pipelines
• Enhancing SQL scripts and ETL processes for performance and accuracy
• Building data ingestion workflows using SSIS and writing advanced T-SQL
• Applying best practices in data modelling, architecture, and version control
• Contributing to Agile ceremonies and collaborating on architecture decisions
• Troubleshooting complex data issues and refining transformation logic
• Supporting the internal data integration framework and resolving source data challenges

What You Bring:

• 5-7 years of hands-on software development experience across the SDLC
• Strong command of the Microsoft SQL Server stack, including SQL CLR and SSMS
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, especially TDD/BDD
• Proven skills in data modelling, performance tuning, and database administration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a big plus
