About The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive supplier performance management, governance expertise, and oversight within the Insurance business. The role supports the Property Assessing Department by ensuring adherence to processes and procedures across the Property Assessing and Repair functions. It is designed to positively influence performance objectives, including cost, quality, and supplier management, ensuring that suppliers consistently exceed the expectations of our members and contribute to the successful delivery of the objectives of the RACQ.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled leader to deliver exceptional outcomes for our members, work with our trade suppliers, negotiate and influence to improve service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with goods and service suppliers, establishing strategic alliances to drive cost reduction, cost mitigation, sustainability goals, and improved member experience.
- Collaborate with Group Procurement and Legal teams to develop strategies, manage risks, and ensure that sourcing and tendering arrangements are compliant.
- Utilise the Supplier Performance Framework to ensure RACQ achieves optimal outcomes from claims suppliers, consistently aligning with performance objectives and strategy.
- Support the development and implementation of audit frameworks designed to align with performance objectives and the overall strategic goals of the organisation.
- Monitor member feedback proactively and take action to address any issues with suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams and suppliers to maintain and enhance the member experience.
- Identify commercial opportunities, including negotiating and sourcing new categories, to enhance member experience and service quality.
- Report on adverse audit findings and identified opportunities, presenting these findings to both internal and external stakeholders to drive improvement initiatives.
- Commitment to a Fixed Term Contract 12 months, full time hours
- Experience or qualifications in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Claims Operations or building trade, construction management, quantity surveying.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Solid understanding of financial and commercial processes with strong commercial acumen to drive business objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in accurately quantifying loss and understanding repair practices and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail, capable of conducting desktop and remote audits and generating accurate reports.
