What you will do
- Act as an ambassador for the Materialise medical mission of making personalized medicine available to everyone through personalized 3D planning and 3D printing
- Be responsible for sales to existing and new customers in the medical device industry within your region, actively following up on existing contacts and seeking opportunities to extend relationships within and across your business scope
- Collaborate with colleagues from the inside sales and application engineering teams
- Gain a deep understanding of customer situations, explore unmet needs, create value for their organization, and enable the use of our technology in various medical specialties in hospitals and research groups
- Build a network with medical device companies in your region and become a trusted advisor to them
- Take ownership of set objectives and corporate strategy to create and execute a plan for managing your daily activities
- Report to the General Manager of Australia and New Zealand
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales and/or business development
- Educational background or working experience related to medical/healthcare is a must
- Outgoing yet mature personality that easily builds rapport, is highly motivated to succeed, and is open to continuous learning and development
- Able to work autonomously in a fast-moving organization
- Able to travel regularly
- Home-based with some onsite office meetings, so hybrid work is acceptable
- Open to candidates across Australia; you don’t have to be located in Queensland
