Journey Early Learning is seeking a motivated, passionate, and experienced Centre Manager to guide our St Albans team in shaping the future of early education, while fostering an environment where both team members and children can thrive.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our brand new, purpose-built centre in St Alans, set to open in late August. Conveniently located near our existing services in central Melbourne, this new centre marks a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering high-quality education and care.
This is a rare opportunity to join the centre from the very beginning. As Centre Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in:
Shaping a brand-new team of passionate educators

About the role:
As Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and regulations. Your primary focus will be leading, mentoring, and developing your team, while promoting best practices, driving continuous improvement, and engaging with the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
Managing the performance and success of your centre
Management of daily operations, budgets, wages, rostering, occupancy
Lead, coach, develop and support the professional development of your team
Developing strong relationships with families and the community
Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
Advocating for the rights of every child within your centre
Implementation and evaluation of quality programs that support the development of all children.
About you:
You are an experienced leader within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, with a passion for shaping young lives and empowering future leaders, you'll thrive in a supportive environment that values your expertise and ideas.
Key Requirements
Previous experience working in a leadership role
Demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring and supportive environment for all children and their families
Demonstrated ability to adhere to the ECA code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours while engaging with children
ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children’s Services or bachelor’s degree (Early Education)
Current Valid Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
