Business Unit Overview
Our Operations unit is the engine room of Superloop - responsible for maintaining and supporting all of our products and internal technical infrastructure to ensure the best possible service to both our customers and our very own business. Our Operations unit is responsible for ensuring that the business has the technical capability and capacity to deliver services to all Superloop customers ranging from Home Broadband to International Wholesale.
Role Purpose
The primary goal of the Network Engineer is to ensure the smooth operation of the Superloop network in order to provide maximum performance and availability to all customers. The Network Engineer is responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining all devices and services within Superloop’s global network

The Network Engineer is responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining all devices and services within Superloop’s global network
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing network infrastructure.
- Proactively monitoring network performance.
- Troubleshooting network faults.
- Adhering to all network security standards.
- Managing and maintaining network documentation and inventory.
- Collaborating with other business units where required.
- Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Adhering to all company policies.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a networking related role.
- Degree in Telecommunications or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
- Strong understanding of ethernet switching technologies.
- Strong understanding of Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
- Strong understanding of IP routing and forwarding.
- Ability to work without supervision and in a team environment.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Sound project management skills.
- CCNP or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.
