We’re now looking for a highly capable Office Manager to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
About the role:
The Office Manager is a key connector across our organisation, responsible for ensuring the daily operations of our offices run seamlessly. With Melbourne Airport teams spread across five distinct locations — the Integrated Operations Centre, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Building 219 and Building 59 — this role plays a vital part in keeping our people supported and our environments functional, professional, and welcoming.
You’ll lead a small team and oversee office administration, reception services, shared services vendors, facilities coordination and internal processes, always striving to make improvements where you see opportunities. Key responsibilities:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations across all office locations at Melbourne Airport, ensuring a consistent experience across sites
- Manage reception services and office administration, including rostering, mail, and visitor experience
- Coordinate office supplies, stationery and uniform programs, including procurement and inventory control
- Lead office accommodation and relocation logistics, including seating plans and workspace changes
- Be the go-to for facilities queries — repairs, cleaning, access, security passes and WHS compliance
- Manage contracts with shared services vendors such as cleaning, travel and stationery providers
- Collaborate with IT on tech-related needs, including AV systems and meeting room tools
- Drive internal office processes and workplace improvements, championing a positive, inclusive and professional culture
The successful candidate will have:
- The ideal candidate will have superior organisational and problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and people management capabilities
- Proven experience in office administration or management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, or similar tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
