About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team within the Public Sector. This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration of contracts, ensuring procurement compliance, risk management, and value for money in accordance with WA Government policies and frameworks.
Location: Perth, WA. East Perth, CBD Perth
Rate: Level 3. $54 an hour + Super

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer contracts in accordance with government policies and procedures
- Coordinate procurement activities
- Conducting schedules and sorting out priorities to match the needs of the project
- Maintain accurate contract records, registers, and reporting systems
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure contract milestones are achieved
- Assist in risk management, audit compliance, and performance reviews
- Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on contract and procurement matters
- Demonstrated experience in contract or procurement administration, preferably within a government or infrastructure-related environment
- Understanding of the WA public sector procurement framework and relevant legislation (e.g., State Supply Commission policies)
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong time management and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management tools/systems
- WA Government background.
- Previous experience in contract administration or procurement, ideally within a government or infrastructure environment
- High-level attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using contract management or procurement systems (e.g. Tenders WA, TRIM, or similar)
