The Investment Risk and Compliance team is responsible for the effective implementation of Cbus’ first line investment risk management and compliance frameworks. The team identify new and emerging risk and compliance obligations that will impact the Investments business unit. The role will be responsible for ensuring all compliance obligations are met and documented with relevant controls.
This Analyst will be supporting internalisation largely focused on derivative initiatives to ensure all operational risk and compliance obligations have been identified, reviewed and assessed in their process. The role will need to ensure there are robust preventative and/or detective controls to manage risks in line with established risk appetite and work to enhance and implement Investments’ compliance management plan.
The role will require candidates with some derivative knowledge in both exchange traded and OTC derivatives.
We will be considering candidates not only from an existing risk and compliance role but open to operations or front office candidates or candidates who have studied derivatives in Masters of Applied Finance (or similar) and are keen to utilise their derivatives experience and/or knowledge and pursue a role within a risk and compliance area.
Candidates within a superannuation fund, investment bank, broker, investment manager or custodian environment and hedge funds are encouraged to apply.
