Network Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled Network Engineer for a short-term contract in the southern suburbs of Brisbane to help design, implement, and support reliable and secure network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Work with firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking hardware
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors on network projects
• Document network architecture, processes, and procedures

About You:

• Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware
• Familiar with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP) are a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
