Our client is a global EPCM within the Mining Industry headquartered in Australia, is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to work on an initial 9-month contract based in WA.

Duration: 9 months casual contract

Roster: 3 months Perth office, 6 months FIFO 2/1 Roster

Introduction: All electrical systems operate at low voltage (LV) 415V. There is also an opportunity to participate in the 33kV energisation process with the Utilities team, should the candidate be interested. Involvement in this aspect would be a valuable advantage, particularly in relation to the Authority To Energise (ATE) process.

Site Commissioning Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee field execution of commissioning activities
  • Supervise and manage the commissioning scope of work
  • Approve test records and manage technical queries (TQs) in coordination with engineering

Home Office Planning Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit the HV Submission Report in readiness for substation energisation
  • Provide support for ATE and energisation of new substations
  • Develop the electrical commissioning execution plan
  • Prepare the CCMS (Commissioning Completion Management System), including device lists, equipment inventories, and cable schedules
