Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Sales Finance Business Partner to join our Buildings (SIB) business unit, located in any of our East Coast offices (Bayswater - VIC, North Ryde - NSW, Bowen Hills - QLD).
The successful candidate will be a member of the Business Leadership Team and be a key voice in major decisions impacting the SI Buildings business unit, partnering with the Head of Sales on all commercial topics. This will involve:

The successful candidate will be a member of the Business Leadership Team and be a key voice in major decisions impacting the SI Buildings business unit, partnering with the Head of Sales on all commercial topics. This will involve:
- Order Intake Forecasting: Creates and ensures achievement of order intake forecast for all SI B revenue streams (Projects, Service, Product, etc.) Accountable for achievement of committed orders forecast.
- Driving Performance: Utilize dashboards to drive sales productivity / performance and provide actionable insights.
- Drive Commercial Excellence: Regularly review and enhance Gross Margin (GM) approval frameworks to support strategic decision-making.
- Contractual Oversight: Reviews and negotiates contracts with external customers ensuring optimal commercial positioning through risk mitigation and opportunity enhancement
- Governance & Compliance Leadership: Manage pre-approval processes, facilitate review meetings, and oversee Wrike-based approval workflows to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
- Bid Approval Process Ownership: Schedule and lead LOA (Limits of Authority) calls, ensuring all PRR (Project Risk Review) and LOA documentation is complete and submitted to HQ ahead of key meetings. Serve as a key partner to creating sales strategy that ensures maximum value for Siemens.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Owns process of local sign-off of major bids with senior leaders to ensure timely and informed approvals.
- Customer Setup & Credit Management: Ensure new customers are accurately set up in SAP and that credit limits are appropriately assessed and approved.
- Sales Enablement Tools: Support the sales team with SieSales (SalesForce) tools and dashboards streamlining reporting and providing key insights on sales productivity.
- Transformation Collaboration: Partner with Head of Sales and Global HQ to drive sales transformation initiatives and process improvements.
- Sales Team Support: Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team, offering guidance and keeping them focused on priorities through weekly updates and ongoing engagement.
