Our Role

The Regional Services Director (RSD) provides overall leadership for Consulting Services across all Objective products in a designated region. The RSD drives regional business operations through ownership of resource and team management, revenue forecasting, regional budgets, profit and loss (P&L), and local ownership of relevant innovation programs. They have ultimate commercial and delivery responsibility for all projects within the region. The RSD role is part of the Global Customer Services leadership team.

The role reports to a Head of Delivery and has people management responsibilities.

A Day In Your Role

  • People Leadership - Provide employee-focused leadership to drive strong engagement and a high-performance culture. Build, motivate, and develop a diverse team to deliver results.
  • Resource Management - Build and manage a consulting team aligned to market needs and business strategy. Oversee assignments, performance, and utilisation, taking proactive action to meet targets.
  • Project Delivery & Outcomes - Ensure successful engagement delivery using project management best practices. Implement strong governance to minimise risk and maximise project outcomes and profitability.
  • Governance & Escalation - Act as Objective Project Sponsor at governance forums. Serve as the escalation point for customer issues and ensure internal governance processes are followed and approvals obtained.
  • Customer Success - Drive long-term customer success and referenceability. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to deliver value, enhance engagement, and promote advocacy.
  • Strategic Leadership - Own the Regional Services strategy. Guides bids, projects, and customer initiatives to retain and grow value, aligning with broader organisational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Develop trusted relationships with project sponsors and key stakeholders. Maintain alignment on project objectives, manage escalations, and ensure clear visibility into risks and outcomes.
  • Revenue Growth - Lead the growth of Consulting Services to meet revenue targets. Partner with Sales to position services in the sales cycle and support opportunity success.
  • Financial Management - Deliver profitable growth with high customer and employee satisfaction. Ensure accurate forecasting, billing, and recovery actions as needed to meet financial goals.
  • Sales & Bid Support - Support Sales through compelling proposals and presentations. Own Consulting Services content in bids and ensures compliance with internal processes.
  • Best Practice & Improvement - Drive continuous improvement by implementing global best practices, capturing project learnings, and contributing to shared knowledge and capability uplift.
  • Risk Management - Own the risk oversight for the regional portfolio. Monitor performance, escalate early, and lead mitigation strategies to safeguard outcomes and relationships.

Your Skills, Experience And Beyond

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead consulting professionals in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of the software sales process.
  • Proven experience in formal Project Management and Implementation Methodologies and processes.
  • Solid knowledge of information governance and process compliance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage at senior management levels and support sales initiatives.
  • University degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
