Lendlease ACT are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Canberra to manage the delivery of the Facade package on an ongoing long-term project.

In this position, you will play an integral role in managing and resolving the detail design of the building facade, whilst managing a team, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver a successful construction project.

This includes developing and maintaining construction program, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality, overseeing financial and contract management, and ensuring high levels of Health & Safety at all times. You will also provide guidance to junior staff on site.

To Be Successful You Will Need

  • 7+ years of experience working on-site in construction delivery.
  • Experience working on large scale building projects, ideally above $100m, and experience managing building facade packages.
  • Experience overseeing cost, quality, and environmental controls, and ensuring compliance and progress reporting.
  • Experience developing and maintain project programmes and ensuring effective planning and execution.
  • Experience resolve design issues and providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify problems and come up with creative solutions.
