Accountant – Woodside Energy
Airswift is proud to be partnering with Woodside Energy to recruit an experienced Accountant for their Perth-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong technical background and a passion for partnering with the business to drive performance. You’ll join the Group Financial Control team, playing a key role in revenue recognition and accounts receivable functions across Woodside’s iconic LNG and energy portfolio.

You'll be responsible for ensuring Group revenue and receivables align with policy, support month-end processes, and collaborate with business units on AR and sales reporting across NWS, Pluto and Wheatstone.

About The Role
You'll be responsible for ensuring Group revenue and receivables align with policy, support month-end processes, and collaborate with business units on AR and sales reporting across NWS, Pluto and Wheatstone.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review external sales info for LNG and liquids across core assets
- Manage revenue accruals, adjustments and month-end reconciliations
- Perform AR aging analysis and liaise with business on outstanding amounts
- Approve non-product AR invoices and raise invoice/credit notes as needed
- Support SOX-compliant documentation, audit preparation and tax activities
- Continuously improve and document processes for revenue accounting
- CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years’ experience in finance or accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, commercial acumen, and analytical ability
- SAP and/or external audit experience highly regarded
- A proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
