About The Role

Our finance team have an opportunity for a customer-centricAccounts Receivable Officerto join their team.

  • Full-time, permanent role based in our new West Perth office.
  • Flexible working arrangements available, including the opportunity to work from home. We work a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

Reporting to our Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the primary focus of this role is to professionally attend to internal and external customer enquiries and support various areas of business activities including payment receipting. The role will include:

  • Timely generation of invoices and daily receipting
  • Process client refunds in line with legislative requirements
  • Complete confidential customer support including taking payments over the phone
  • Maintain accurate files and records
  • Follow-up and resolve customer queries

About You

You pride yourself on delivering excellent service to your customers and have an ability to listen and communicate clearly on the phone and in writing. You have an established understanding of accounting concepts and procedures relevant to accounts receivable and payable. You will also bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role; working within a team as well as independently
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all Bethanie employees and external customers
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in the aged care, disability or not-for-profit sectors is desirable but not essential
