Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH)
Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH) provides patients with the opportunity to receive high-quality rehabilitation services in the comfort of their own homes. This service is designed to support patients in their recovery and help them regain independence following surgery, illness, or injury.
RITH aims to enhance patient outcomes, reduce hospital readmissions, and improve overall quality of life.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

- Manage Complex Cases: Apply your advanced skills to handle a diverse and challenging clinical caseload in Neurology/Stroke.
- Lead and Support: Provide leadership and support to our multidisciplinary RITH team through consultancy services, staff education, and clinical supervision.
- Innovate and Improve: Plan, coordinate, and evaluate RITH practices using quality improvement and research principles.
- Collaborate Across Hubs: Support RITH teams across EMHS, NMHS, and SMHS.
- Professional Growth: Practice in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct and Registration Standards.
