We are currently seeking diligent and experienced Security Officers to join our team at Maryborough Brisbane. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and controlling access to our client’s premises through gatehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals entering the premises.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors and activities on the premises.
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to appropriate authorities.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security officer or in a relevant position.
• Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and keen observation skills.
• Current Security Industry Authority (SIA) License.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
