Their growing building division focuses on negotiated Design & Construct projects across the commercial and hospitality sectors. With a hands-on Director and senior leadership team, the business prioritises mentoring, staff development, and building long-term client relationships rather than competing in the volatile tender market.

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with solid experience in bulk excavation and Tier 1 building environments. You’ll play a critical role in early-stage planning, client liaison, subcontractor management, and program delivery.
Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you’ll manage multiple packages valued up to $10M and take ownership of financial tracking, safety, and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and delivery of bulk excavation and associated civil works
- Manage programs, budgets, subcontractors, and client communications
- Contribute to tender and pre-construction phases
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Proven experience delivering excavation, roadworks, and infrastructure packages
- Background working on Tier 1 or large-scale commercial building projects
- Strong stakeholder and subcontractor management
- Ability to lead and manage multiple works concurrently
- Sound commercial and programming skills
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
- Proficient with project management software and reporting tools
