We are looking for a talented and committed Workforce Staffing (WFS) Specialist to lead country wide staffing/high volume hiring events for our Customer Fulfillment & Delivery Services teams. In this high volume hiring space, you will manage the delivery of Associate labor through direct sourcing channels, vendor suppliers, daily vendor management and engagement initiatives. Additionally, this role requires owning the tactical development and delivery of community engagement plans, supporting labor demand planning with Finance and Supply Chain Teams.
In this role you will drive key metrics related to: vendor engagement, peak planning, cost of hiring, compliance and driving a scalable lights out WFS workflow. You will be required to lead a small team (1-3 staffing leads) to drive country wide WFS events.
The successful candidate must be able to manage a complex high-volume recruitment process to meet all customer SLAs. You will thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up your sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. You have a demonstrated ability to prioritise your time, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing exceptional customer service to the client and candidate.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with business operations and finance regional leaders to align labor strategy, plans and mitigate risk due to labor fulfillment with weekly Labor Assumption and Labor Planning meetings
- Determines the hiring strategy with the country, considering local market conditions and cost per hire
- Use multiple channels in sourcing and keep current on recruiting sourcing trends (relevant to high-volume hiring) both in sourcing directly and via third party suppliers
- Interpret sourcing data to suggest viability of sourcing strategy and improvements needed
- Audits and evaluates rate cards by role / skill to ensure parity and consistently
- Challenges commercial contract terms and partners with Procurement / Legal to redraft contracts as required
- Examine and establish the causes of adverse trends in metrics, conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions
- Vendor management of labor suppliers and associated KPIs, delivery of standard work and forecasting
- Partners with WFS leadership to support community groups to leverage grassroots sourcing channels to develop talent communities to fill positions
- Owing process improvements initiatives including working with Product / Program Management teams on tech enablement and automation
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Proven experience in labour planning
- Solid understanding of, or experience within an operational environment
- Ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and deep dive skills
- Vendor management experience
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
- Financial planning or commercial analyst experience
