About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Accountant will take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and audit preparation. You’ll play a pivotal role in month-end processes, tax obligations, and continuous improvement initiatives across systems and procedures.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Accountant will take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and audit preparation. You’ll play a pivotal role in month-end processes, tax obligations, and continuous improvement initiatives across systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare statutory accounts and support external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with AASB, GST, FBT, and other tax obligations
- Drive process improvements and support finance system enhancements
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting experience
- Proven background in financial reporting, compliance, and audit
- Experience working in medium to large organisations, ideally in contract or project-based environments
- Strong systems knowledge; experience with Business Central highly regarded
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading process improvements
