About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Platform Manager for the people platforms team that supports our global People function. This role is responsible for the performance, security, and continuous improvement of all commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems within the People Domain, including platforms such as Workday and SAP.
As a key leader in our Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) team, you will collaborate with business leaders, functional owners, and external partners to ensure our platforms are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end ownership of the platforms to support the people's function, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusiveness, and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the People Platform technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap in alignment with enterprise goals.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, agile practices, and process optimization.
- Oversee platform enhancements, change and release management, and compliance with IT governance and audit requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure service delivery meets business expectations.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and ensure platforms remain current and compliant.
- Internal People Domain Leadership, Chapter Leads, Enterprise Architecture, Service Delivery
- External Software Vendors, Implementation Partners
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT operations, software development, or DevOps, with a focus on enterprise People Platforms, specifically Workday.
- Strong understanding of SaaS and on-premises models, including support structures and vendor management.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud-hosted environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into operational outcomes.
