  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in accounting practice or public multinational companies.
  • Experience in SQL or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Professional Accounting qualification.
  • Experience in Google's suite of productivity, collaboration, and communication tools (e.g., Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Experience in International statutory reporting processes and procedures.
  • Experience with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work, execute, and proceed with goals in a changing environment.

About The Job

Google accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Google. You know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. Every day is a new challenge, and you're continually looking for ways to help our team become more efficient and effective. A team player at heart, you collaborate with our global team, advocate best practices and pitch in where needed. You move fast while keeping your attention to detail, and you tap into your problem-solving skills to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Report on external reporting data, metrics and processes for Alphabet’s international companies.
  • Design and produce modelling and data analysis to support decision making.
  • Work on budget management and reportings.
  • Work on management of commercial.
  • Support projects as assigned or required.
