We’re seeking a motivated and practical Grading Team Leader to join our team at Wattle Ridge – West Wyalong, NSW. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead a team of 20–30 staff per night shift in our egg grading and processing department, ensuring smooth daily operations, safety compliance, and production targets are met. You’ll work closely with the Grading Manager and Supervisor to manage production flow, support new staff onboarding, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily grading and packing operations
- Manage shift performance, team rosters, and workflow
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, WHS and food safety standards
- Train and support team members (including onboarding new staff)
- Monitor production data, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and help reduce errors and downtime
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Team on equipment issues
- Communicate daily priorities and progress via team huddles and updates
- Contribute to a continuous improvement culture focused on performance, safety, and teamwork

You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a supervisory/team leader role
- Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, and WHS practices
- Experience in a production, food processing, or manufacturing environment
- Solid time management and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- A proactive, physically fit and safety-focused attitude
- Strong team leadership, communication, and performance coaching abilities
- Ability to identify and respond to issues that impact quality or productivity
