The Role
This is a 12 month contract opportunity for an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and delivering exceptional end-user experiences.
You'll be the go-to expert for Level 3 support, working in a hybrid environment that offers both flexibility and collaborative team engagement.
As the IT Modern Workplace Senior Engineer, you'll take ownership of critical workplace technology systems, from Windows environments and Office 365 to mobile device management and collaboration platforms. This role combines hands-on technical work with mentoring opportunities, allowing you to share your expertise while continuing to develop your skills with the latest Microsoft technologies.
You'll be responsible for maintaining and optimising the modern workplace experience for end users, ensuring seamless operation of everything from desktop systems to cloud-based collaboration tools. The role offers variety, technical depth, and the satisfaction of directly impacting user productivity across the organisation.
What You Bring To The Role
You're a seasoned IT professional with deep expertise in modern workplace technologies and a proven track record of delivering exceptional technical support.
Your experience and skills include:
Essential Experience
- Minimum 7+ years in IT End User Computing/Modern Workplace Administrator roles
- Advanced Microsoft Intune administration and management expertise
- Comprehensive M365 experience including licensing, SharePoint, and Exchange (both on-premises and online)
- Hands-on OneDrive migration experience
- iOS device administration capabilities
- SCCM/MECM proficiency
- Strong Active Directory and Entra ID knowledge, including GPO administration
- Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms experience
- Print Server management
- Level 3 support expertise for Windows 10/11 environments
- Office 2016 and Office 365 application troubleshooting
