About The Opportunity

As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance of Holcim Australia's Solution and Products (Humes) division. You will work closely with the Area Managers to provide strategic financial guidance, support business decisions, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including forecasts and budgets.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs and provide strategic financial advice.
  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies.
  • Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and develop business cases.

Project Management

  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.

About You

  • Chartered Accountant (GAA Member e.g. CA ANZ) or CPA with credible industry experience.
  • Experience as a Finance Business Partner is an essential requirement of this role (and this experience should be very clear in your cover letter/ resume)
  • Experience in the resources, industrial services, engineering, or construction industry or related sectors is a requirement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for driving business performance and a commitment to sustainability.
