Position Summary

The Project Scheduler

the estimator.

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

Scheduling

  • Issuing purchase orders, take offs as required, raising, amending, deleting purchase orders
  • Processing project variations, reconciliation of PS / PC sum adjustments to variations and maintaining Beams during this process
  • Distribution of construction documents to sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Set up Occupational Health and Safety Plans for each job, liaise with supervisor for co ordination

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 2 years Residential scheduling experience
  • Ability to provide quantity take-offs, sound scheduling skill set to assist the Estimator & staff members in problem solving and daily tasks.
  • Sound knowledge of conventional and modern construction processes
  • Microsoft Office Suite of Products: Outlook, word, excel

Personal Skills

  • Ability to communicate to fellow staff with the appropriate level of detail.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, verbally and electronically, with designers, engineers, contractors and construction supervisors
  • Self-manage time including, determining priorities, being efficient and completing tasks to given timeframes.
  • Strong Administrative skills including: accuracy, consistency and reliability.
