Fitness & Lifestyle Group (FLG) is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Automation Coordinator to join our high-performing marketing team. Based in our vibrant South Brisbane support office, this entry-level role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to dive into the world of marketing automation. You'll play a key role in supporting the execution of email and SMS campaigns across our marketing platforms, helping to deliver personalised and impactful customer journeys.

Working closely with our Marketing Specialist (CRM & Automation), you'll gain hands-on experience with the tools, data, and processes that power our customer engagement strategies. From day one, you'll contribute to real campaigns while building a strong foundation in automation, campaign delivery, and marketing technology.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assist in building and sending email and SMS campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring accuracy and personalisation.
  • Conduct pre-send checks across content, links, audience setup, and creative to ensure flawless execution.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to schedule campaigns, track progress, and maintain organised systems and naming conventions.
  • Support campaign planning and reporting by reviewing briefs, flagging missing details, and contributing to team meetings.
  • Help manage audience segmentation, reusable templates, and shared assets while developing your skills in marketing automation and customer engagement.

What you'll bring:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Experience within a part-time Internship, project experience in digital or marketing; or less than 2 years of full-time professional experience
  • Familiarity with task management tools like Monday.com, Jira, or Confluence, and an understanding of how to support group projects and build project pipelines
  • Confidence working with marketing executives and creative teams to interpret briefs and deliver effective creative assets
  • A basic understanding of technical programs such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or InDesign.
  • Exposure to platforms like Meta Ads Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SCM/SCO), or Google Ads is a plus
  • Exploration of HTML, email marketing tools (like Mailchimp, Vision6, Klaviyo, or Canva), or performance tracking with GA4
