Your New Role
As the Direct Acquisition Product Owner, you will lead the charge in optimising the acquisition journey, lifting conversion rates, and scaling direct-to-consumer acquisition channels. You will work cross-functionally with digital, insights, performance media, compliance, brand, and proposition stakeholders to define, build, and iterate experiences that attract and convert new members effectively and compliantly. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- To act as the primary contact for direct acquisition of new members, shaping the digital acquisition roadmap to support growth targets
- Champion the customer experience from first impression through to conversion, using experimentation to identify opportunities for improvement
- Iterate messaging, conversion flows, and competitive positioning based on market, segment, and behavioural insights
- Communicate and influence ideas persuasively, proactively seeking opportunities to work with other teams to achieve common outcome
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Working Knowledge of Marketing and advertising technology, including Customer Data Platforms and Analytics platforms
- Very strong knowledge of current and emerging marketing technology and journey / experience design
- Ten or more years of experience in Marketing / Digital Marketing / IT, preferably within financial services with demonstratable leadership responsibilities
- Five or more years experience in Lifecycle marketing or equivalent role, preferably within financial services
- Broad knowledge of the Superannuation industry
