Executive Assistant

Classification: ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration)
Salary Package: $93,646 - $107,795 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full Time, Continuing

Position Overview

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join the School of Engineering and provide administrative and secretarial support to the Director of the School at the ANU. The Executive Assistant plays a critical role for the School; acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, providing high quality secretarial support and executive assistance, undertaking background research and presenting data for the executive and managing School strategies, as well as establishing and maintaining networks and effective relationships across campus. Working as the EA to the Director we are looking for someone who:

• Has the ability to anticipate the needs of their executive, and is proactive in supporting these needs
• Is flexible and capable of adjusting priorities
• Enjoys working in a small team
• Is always listening and looking for ways to continuously improve
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoys being organised
• Is discreet when it comes to accessing confidential information
