Diverseco is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our QLD Sales team.

About The Role
We’re looking for experienced Business Development Manager to join our Brisbane Sales Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our accelerated bonus scheme, with a generous base salary, car allowance, company laptop and mobile phone provided. Your role is to grow revenue, develop new businesses and maintain client relationships as we grow. Based in our Underwood Queensland office.
Establish rapport with new customers to achieve your personal sales budget through prospecting, cold calling, following up on referrals/web leads and setting up appointments with key decision-maker, with the final outcome being a closed sale.
Achieve targets for sales revenue, gross profit and sales activity (i.e. prospecting activities, quotes generated, customer appointments, etc) as set by your manager.
Actively develop relationships and sales opportunities with new and existing customers from both company-provided and self-generated leads including working with other sales team members to formulate tender responses within time frames.
Research competitor and industry activity and keep informed of new products/services and other general information of interest to customers incorporating this data into your sales process.
Develop deep product knowledge so as to be able to sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients on customised solutions that best meet their needs.
About You
Exemplary customer service skills, positive, proactive and can-do attitude with strong accuracy and attention to detail in completing and following through on all aspects of the sales process.
Strong level of interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal; combined with excellent time management and coordinating skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. CRM skills are a definite bonus.
Experience in a capital equipment sales role selling a technical range of products and solutions. Have ongoing relationships with a multitude of industries that manufacture or distribute FMCG
Well-developed sales skills (i.e. Negotiation, Influence, Formal Presentation, Closure, etc.)
An Engineering / Electrical qualification is highly desirable.
A current Australian driver’s licence
