Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a passion for Oncology – Haematology? As a Nurse Practitioner, you will utilise your expert knowledge and clinical skills to provide comprehensive care to patients, whilst collaborating with a team of health professionals.

Position Overview: As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work autonomously to diagnose, treat, and manage patient health status in accordance with national legislation and regulations. You will be responsible for performing advanced physical assessments, interpreting diagnostic investigations, and prescribing medications and therapies. In this role, you will also embrace clinical leadership, develop standards of practice, and lead quality improvement initiatives.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

  • Demonstrated extensive clinical and professional experience, and expert knowledge and competence in area of specialty, with flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and progress clinical care.
  • Demonstrated well-developed leadership skills consistent with organisational values and behaviour, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated advanced interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Evidence of high-level commitment to continuous quality improvement principles and initiatives including the ability to influence organisational and cultural change.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of safety, risk and research principles to support person centred care and evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and application of local and national contemporary policy, legislative and regulatory obligations, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service.
