Senior Business Development Manager – Mortgage Broker Industry

Salary: $150k + Super + Vehicle + Commisson

Are you a dynamic sales professional with deep experience in commercial lending and a passion for building lasting broker relationships? We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to manage and grow broker and aggregator partnerships within the mortgage broker industry.

The Role

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by:

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your existing network and emerging market areas
• Expanding the portfolio of active mortgage brokers and maintaining strong relationships with existing advocates
• Delivering exceptional customer service through responsive communication and timely broker support
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and risk management frameworks
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Grow the broker network and increase managed portfolio size
• Meet settlement and conversion targets
• Provide exemplary service to internal and external stakeholders
• Operate within the company’s risk and compliance guidelines
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial lending sales, ideally within financial services, mortgage lending, or real estate
• Certificate IV in Finance and Broker Management
• Strong understanding of credit assessment, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong business relationships
• Well networked within broker channels
  
  

Highly Regarded

• Experience in asset finance, residential and commercial lending
• Well connected within Non Bank Lending space
  
  

Desirable

• Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
