Are you looking to develop your career within a supportive, forward-thinking organisation? I-MED Radiology is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in Mount Waverley for a 6-month full-time fixed-term role. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic Accounts Receivable function and grow your professional skillset.

About The Role

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a key role in delivering billing and collection services across the business, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service to patients and stakeholders. This position requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Service & Communication: Manage inbound and outbound queries from patients, handle daily public line calls, and respond to email correspondence professionally and promptly.
  • Accounts Receivable & Invoice Processing: Prepare and distribute invoices, group invoices using Visage, and follow up with insurers and employers to ensure timely payments.
  • Workcover Management: Monitor and resolve invoice errors, review filters for unsent invoices, and take appropriate action to ensure accurate billing.
  • Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Process and reconcile payments accurately, investigate unallocated transactions, and liaise with the banking team when required.
  • Debt Collection & Follow-Up: Track overdue accounts, communicate with patients and insurers regarding outstanding balances, and escalate matters as necessary.
  • Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with internal teams, contribute to training initiatives, and support ongoing process enhancements.


About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess:


  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Experience using Visage (preferred)
  • Prior exposure to accounts receivable processes (advantageous but not essential)
