Job Overview
We are looking for a Graduate to join our growing Accessibility, working a variety of different projects across the country including large buildings e.g. commercial buildings, airports, schools, stadiums etc. as well as public realm projects which range from cemeteries to public event spaces. This role will also expose you to a diverse range of clients, offering you the opportunity to gain practical experience and knowledge across a variety of industries. You will work alongside experienced accessibility consultants and be provided with mentoring and support to grow your skills and career.
Recognising that access consultants can come from a range of backgrounds and disciplines as a new graduate, we will help you to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development opportunities. Our aim isn't just to make the built environment, services, and information more accessible for everyone (including people with disability) you will be encouraged to take ownership of your work, collaborate with colleagues and participate in a team environment, providing opportunities for you to become a 'well rounded' consultant. In this role, you will work across a huge range of different activities:
- Design and assess all areas of the projects to provide the best solutions for access strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to help upgrade their access safety measures.
- Enjoy site visits to view progression and completion of the large projects.
- Collaborate with all our different teams to collaborate across a wide range of projects.
- Work along side Senior Managers on larger complex projects
Requirements And Qualifications
- Must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident.
- Love to collaborate with clients and other teams within the projects.
- Have some understanding of the construction industry.
- Be familiar with the Work Health and Safety requirements for the office and onsite.
- Personal drive, results-orientated with a friendly, can-do attitude and a high level of honesty, integrity, commitment, and responsibility.
- Strong time management and organisation skills.
